However if your faucet handle is not loose but it is hard to operate, the problem might be with the cartridge. Check if your cartridge has debris inside and clean it or lubricate if it is stuck. A leaky faucet is highly problematic for the home. The problem might be coming from the O-rings, lubricate the O-rings with silicone-based grease. If the problem persists, you need to replace the O-rings. For a dripping faucet, replace the valve seat.
